I bought this online here at amazon after I returned another seat I bought locally at a big box store. Unlike the one I returned, this is clearly designed by someone who understands that even pets want to be comfortable. It is very well made, incredibly easy to assemble, and installs in seconds, securely on a seat. It is very apparent that my dog, a chihuahua/miniature pinscher mix, is comfortable and feels secure. After initially looking around she quickly curls into the soft, quilted liner (which is removable and washable) and falls asleep. I very rarely write reviews but was motivated by the quality of this product. You will not be disappointed by this attractive seat.

Have the wrong-sized bucket seats, I guess. This booster seat won't lay flush against the back of car seat; this will cause the booster seat to tip over as there's nothing to support the booster. Called the company asking about return policy (had free shipping). They claimed I'd have to pay the shipping charge ($20 plus) to send the product back, which is nearly half the purchase price. Not a good deal. Be sure the booster seat will fit flat inside the contours of your bucket seat. It may be well worth your time to take careful measurements. Hope this review was useful. Thanks.

I did not buy this item on Amazon, but rather at a local pet store (amazingly for a decent price). I have a Honda Accord, but it fits nicely on the front seat. I am owned by two Poms, a large one at 12.5 lbs and a small one at 5.5 lbs. Both fit nicely in it for short rides. If you have two small dogs (under 10 lbs you'd want the larger version so they can lie down and sleep). I will eventually upgrade, but I'll keep this one for short trips. This is truly a nice set up, it's trendy and actually looks 'cool' strapped on my front seat! ;)

Very happy with this purchase. Works well with my 9 Lb. Chihuahua. Attaches easily to the seat and feels very stable. Little guy seems to love being able to look out the window and when he gets tired, he has enough room to curl up and take a nap.

Overall I like this dog seat and my dog ,Romeo, an 8.5 LB. pomeranian loves the seat. However after 3 weeks one of the clips that hold the top strap of the dog seat to the car seat broke and my dog went flying out of the car seat and ended up hanging by his harness to the leash holder on the car seat. Good thing he wasn't wearing a collar. He was not injured. This seat is supposed to hold up to 18 LBS.!!!! I replaced all the cheap defective clips with heavy duty clips.

This seat is very well made and would be worth the money except for one thing: The hooks on the ends of the straps are very cheap.
Within a couple months The hooks that hold the strap around the headrest just popped off as I was riding down the road with my dog in the seat. She was left hanging by her harness. Not very cool when you are traveling at 70 mph on the highway. I contacted the company be e-mail and they were very nice. They sent me out right away a new strap and hook assembly for the headrest. The one I received was much more heavy duty then the original. I thought, okay that is that. Nope.... I was on a 4 hr. car trip with my dog a few days ago and the same thing happened. This time it was the hooks that hold the bottom strap of the seat. You might think it a simple matter to just go to a hardware and get some better quality hooks. Not so easy as the hooks are sewn to the straps so you really need the whole strap/hook assemble. I give up at this point. It is ridiculous to me that a company will design such a nice product and then save a few pennies with cheap hooks. By the way my dog only weighs 9 pounds; well within the weight capacity that the intructions state the seat will hold. What is really irritating is that if you read these reviews this has happened to other people; you would think they would start putting better quality hardware on their seats.
I won't buy this brand again.

My little Maltese jumped happily in this right away! Ahhhh....to be safely tethered snugly in a doggy seat at last!

And THE VIEW!....wow....no more jumping up and slipping at the window to get a peek at the landscape!

The strap is designed so that your 'fur baby' can safely sit or lie down; even turn around.
Do not leave them attached to the tether though when you run into the store, as they could potentially hang from the cord if they tried to jump out unattended!

Best car seat for small Pupz that I've seen!

I have two little 3 lbs. chihuahuas.
They always know when something is for them.
As soon as they saw their new seat they became so excited.
I strapped them in and off we went.
They look so proud sitting up enjoying the view.
And I now feel so much safer driving. I feared I would eventually have an accident due to juggling two dogs in my lap.
The quality is awesome. I know I will have this seat for years to come.

Vera (my 5.5 pound Japanese Chin) loves this! Her car rides used to be spent confined to a traditional pet carrier, and now her enthusiasm to check out the world as it passes by is unmeasured.

Goes well with the car's tan interior, and is really very simple to install/uninstall. There is also plenty of room for her to comfortably turn around or even lie down

One word of caution: you probably should NOT put this in the back seat of your vehicle UNLESS you have a passenger who could help out in case of a poorly-timed, enthusiastic leap from the basket! There is a harness clip to keep the dog safe in case of sudden turns or stops, but if your dog jumps out, he/she will dangle (or worse) whick would be very dangerous while you are driving! Vera tried to jump out within the first five minutes, but luckily it was in the driveway. It only took once for her to learn her lesson, but I was too worried for the rest of our drive to really be able to focus on the road instead of her in the backseat: dangerous! Keep the pet seat installed up front with you, if you are in the car alone.

I have to chihuahuas, one is 5lbs. the other is 3lbs. They love to travel with my husband and I but hate being in a carrier when doing so. Ever since I made this purchase, they have stopped whining in the back seat. We just drove 3 hours to my inlaws and the two of them were either sleeping or looking out the window the entire time, not a peep! Highly recommend this product. My two dogs are about 8lbs. combined and just make it sleeping. If your dog is any bigger than that, it will be tight for sleeping.
