Product Description

The Deluxe XL has the same construction as our Deluxe Telescoping model, but is 17" longer and 3" wider-45% larger overall The extra length of the XL model provides a flatter angle for easier climbing. The extra width gives larger dogs more room and thus more confidence when using the ramp. Sporting Dog Owners: For use with 4x4 pickups, the extra length in this model is essential. The unique construction of the XL model gives it the best combination of size, strength and light weight on the market. Even though it's "oversized" it still weighs only 18 lbs, and it supports over 300 lbs. It,s also very compact, making it easier to use and store. It extends from 47" to 87" and anywhere in between. Use it fully extended for SUVs, pickup trucks, grooming tables, etc. Shorten the ramp when space is limited or when the upper surface isn't as high-the Deluxe XL Telescoping Pet Ramp is many ramps in one. The telescoping design is the secret to making this ramp so easy to use-just slide it out to use and slide it in to stow. No clumsy folding and unfolding required. A high-traction walking surface gives pets a sure footing, especially on steep climbs. The ramp also includes a convenient carry handle, and safety release latch to prevent accidental opening. The ultra-stiff design utilizes four rubber feet to keep the ramp stable while in use. The Deluxe XL Telescoping Pet Ramp carries a one year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. dimensions: 47-87" x 20" x 4".

Great product. Easy to use. Affordable.
Our 6 year old German Shepherd had a torn cruciate ligament & just had TTA surgery. We ordered this ramp prior to surgery and got her use to using it to get in and out of our SUV. Researched lots of ramps and selected this one on 4 points. 1) Telescopes and doesn't fold (easier to set up, no fumbling to hinge open an 8' long ramp on a windy day). 2) The length (at 87" it is the longest available of this type - the longer the ramp, the less steep the incline the dog has to manage with an injury or limited mobility). I'm petite and while the ramp is long, the ramp's 20lb weight is easily manageable. 3) Construction - aluminum and plastic. Sturdy, yet light weight. Has handled our 85lb GSD no problem. 4) Price. Shopped around and considered price, construction, weight, ease of set-up, ease of storage, etc. and this ramp suited all our needs.
The first time up required a bit of coaxing & reassuring-just be patient. After a few times up and down and lots of praise she's a pro now. We hang onto her collar to control her speed going up and down and to insure she doesn't fall or jump off. Now she sits next to the bumper or waits patiently inside until it's put it in place. This has been a life saver for trips to the vet/surgeon for follow ups. We will continue to use the ramp even after she's fully healed to prevent any future injuries to her joints that could be attributed to the impact of jumping in & out of the SUV.

Our puppy just hit the over 100 lbs mark and isn't suppose to (or inclined to) jump up or down from the car. This ramp works well and isn't too heavy. Our only problem is it's big (duh) so it's difficult to store in the SUV with the dog. Can't have the seats in the back down if the ramp is in there. I really don't think that this is a design or product flaw - it's just big dogs need big things ... just thought I'd pass it along. Would recommend.

Bought this ramp for our show lambs we would always carry them up the truck and carry them down. Read all reviews for dogs never about small stock animals. At first we were kind of worried whether they would fall going up or down. After a couple of time they learned how to do it now they just run up there, of course we stand on both sided of the ramps to make sure they don't fall off. Would be better if it was wider but even so we love the product. Our Lambs cannot weight more then150 pounds for our fair so the weight limit was perfect.

The wider width and length of this unit is great fo my older dogs. Only suggestion to improve is
to make the ramp surface from something different for the dog paws traction or grip. I will cover
with a rug runner for now. I would highly recommend this ramp for older dogs.

I have two HUGE American Mastiff dogs and an SUV to haul them around in. The telescoping feature is nice and it's thin enough where I just lay it across the back cargo compartment until I need it, it's doesn't roll around or create issues when it's not in use. Also it is easily expandable with one hand a quick tap of the foot when I'm holding back two excited dogs who know they get to run down the ramp. It holds 190+ pounds with no issues. It's not too steep, hasn't made a scratch on my bumper and the surface seems to be adequate for traction as the pups run up and down it.
