Una sombra donde suena Camila O´Gorman es, sin duda, una de las novelas mas originales de la decada del 70 en la literatura hispanoamericana, se caracteriza ante todo por su tratamiento de la imagen, rasgo eminentemente lirico. El discurso narrativo se repliega a cada paso en profusa imagineria que a manera de sugestivos similes inscribe lo relatado en un mundo de magico animismo. La segunda parte de la obra consta de una serie de ensayo literarios escritos por Molina y referidos a otros poetas.
