Raw, dirty, absolutely crashing sound. A sweet cross-section ofthe early Dickies mixed with the garagey chaos of Halo of Flies, all thrown together with a buzzsaw guitar reminiscent of late 70's Buzzcocks/999. Vocalist Ian Magee has that wailing Jaggeresque howl...you've heard it before, yet quite swaggeringly original. Way cooler than those other NYC garage punk "saviors" the Jokes...I mean, the Strokes. As unpolished as your pair of Buster Browns' you used to run through puddles with in 2nd grade. Finally, it's great to be from NYC again.

Coming out of New York the way only a true band should...With no money and nothing but dreams. Ian's vocals are crushing, but Ethan's guitar takes this music to an incredible level. Have to be biased on this review, cause i've heard them live, and I've been following their music for the past three years. This CD was well worth the wait, and now, we can only hope for more.
