Sarah Webb has worked in bookselling for over 10 years, and is currently a children's book consultant. She lives in Dalkey, Co Dublin, with her young son and her baby daughter. She has written four children's reference books, including the popular Kids Can Cook and four adult novels.

i was a bit skeptical when i bought this book due to having read some bad chick lit, but sarah webb turned out to be a revelation. this book is just a lovely irish story about love and family and i dreamily read it in 2 days. i was surprised at myself!it wont win the booker prize but it leaves you with a warm glow and there's nothing wrong with that. a winner for me.
