This was a great album and even more impressive considering everything that has happened to this young lady. Great voice and great instrumentals.

Melody Gardot is by far the best new musician I have found in a long time. I just can't get enough! I only wish there was more! She has an absolutely incredible, sultry voice!

Melody Gardot was evidently just singing part time a few nights for fun, nothing serious,
She was hit by a car and hurt badly!!
Well go read her story, Google her... it's compelling ..
She has 2 CD's out now, this was the first one recorded while she was recovering from this horrible accident.
Singing was her recovery therapy, I would kiss her Dr. if I met he/she, What great advice she was given.
She has another album due out any day. Go reserve it at Amazon and save a few bucks now...
She is Blues and I mean stand up wonderful Blues,
She was sent to replace Billie I believe, She could get compared to others possibly but why bother?

She is Melody so you just have to hear her, she is like no others, If you like Female Blues Vocals, Get ready for a Pro........
This Very Classic lady learned by mistake she could sing and above all she will be famous forever as long as she can bring her voice and words to us,
Yes I said words...
She is a singer song writer who will stop you and make you listen....
For a long time...
Her stories are there., She is Melody!!! Doing Melody!!!!That's all
and it's just great!!!!
This lady is going to go places as long as her health holds out.
So Melody Darling you stay well and keep getting better physically we need you...
If her voice gets better you all will really be taken with her even more like I have been.
