I first came across Matt Nathanson by accident. I had missed Ingrid Michaelson opening for him in the fall of 2007. However, I enjoyed his songs that night and saw him again a week ago (also with Ingrid opening). I loved him even more!!! He is sooooo nice and down to earth! That's when I decided to buy his CD! It's very very good! The cool thing about Nathanson is that his CD is very good as a CD and his live shows are ver good as live shows! As another customer review here was saying, I hope he doesn't change if he gets more well-known. He was cool enough to stay after and meet his fans and he was very very very nice! :)

WOW! What an impressive cd! This music is great to chill to and relax. I had never heard of Matt Nathanson until I heard Sugarland cover "Come On Get Higher." I thought it was a great song, but never had a desire to check him out more. Then I started seing his cd around and gaining in popularity. I took a chance, and with the price, who could resist? I was highly impressed with my buy.
Matt gets things rolling with "Car Crash"-an excellent choice to start the album. The album quickly rolls into "Come On Get Higher," which is one of the best tracks on the album. Things keep rolling on the next few tunes, but start to drag with "Wedding Dress." Things get amped up in "To The Beat of Our Noisy Hearts." Other stand-out tracks are "Detriot Waves," "Still," and "Sooner Surrender." Closing the album is the beautiful, rolling, acoustic and piano-driven "All We Are." Excellent choice to end the album and also a standout track on the album.
This is a great album, give Matt a chance! You won't be dissappointed!

This is a great album with beautiful songs. I could sit listening to it all day. Matt Nathanson is a great artist. I highly recommend it.
