Different Great Society version than the one I know,

Hmm, this is interesting. I had not been aware that apparently there are at least two versions of this song as done by the Great Society -- not including the Jefferson Airplane version. The version of this song that I have, and that I've always known, sounds a ton better than this one, and it goes on longer too. It has a cool raga-rock groove to it, and Grace's vocals are mesmerizing, as she draws out some of the words of the verses -- "When the garden's flowers, baby, AAAAAAAAARRRE...dead." Then there's Darby Slick's guitar solo, which is...well, it sounds like he crossed his guitar with a lawnmower, let's just leave it at that. The B-side was a song called "Free Advice," which was a pretty bad gypsy thing. But I've always liked this version of Somebody To Love (the one that I have, not this one here). If you can find the version I'm talking about, it's worth hunting down.

All I can say is that when you hear this you will know why she got a new band. Awful
