a young girl's life comes to a tragic end one morning at five, when her car crashes into girders of the Golden Gate Bridge. except that it isn't her car and she is too young to drive.
maybe it wasn't an accident. then who is she? the only clue that the police have to her identity is a business card they find in the wreckage. Walter Brackett, private investigator is back in business again- not for the money, ut for himself. a man full of surprices who can't keep himself off the job.
