Book Description

November 15, 1999
Like Alice stepping through the looking glass, Mick Baker finds himself propelled from a dull, meager existence into a fast paced, high stakes world of limos, yachts and beautiful people. Before he has time to get comfortable in his new life, he's wrongly accused of murder. He soon faces one of the toughest decisions of his life. Should he assume a false identity and disappear to some remote corner of the world or, return to his new love, Becky, and do whatever it takes to clear his name? Feelings for Becky override his instinct for self-preservation and he fights his way back to an uncertain future in south Florida.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"...This book started out by dangling bait to hook the reader, in this case, ME! Then reeled me in quickly. Harry Munns has written a story which will have readers holding their breaths as they try to figure out what is REALLY going on. Full of action and mystery, with a touch of romance. Tom Clancy fans may want to check this one out!" -- Huntress Book Reviews

"...When you read Someday Comes, you may find yourself predicting an easy, logical next move. DON'T BE FOOLED! Harry Munns stubbornly refuses to be predictable and he doesn't believe in subtle. As you read along, if you sense you're about to be slapped or tickled, brace yourself for the slap. Someday Comes is a good read from beginning to end. You won't want to put it down." -- Latitudes and Attitudes

5.0 out of 5 stars I wanna book I can't put down!, May 15, 2000
This review is from: Someday Comes (Paperback)
If you're looking for a fast-paced cliffhanger you can't put down, I recommend Someday Comes. The book lures you like a gentle breeze entices a fair weather sailor but then grabs you and before you know it tosses you into the full gale of a fierce hurricane. Mick Baker is tossed from one peril to the next as he tries to save his reputation and perhaps rejoin his new found soul mate. The book takes you on an intriguing journey from the neauvoux rich of Southern Florida to the romantic Caribbean Islands. I can't wait Harry's sequel.

The character development in this novel is exceptional. The twists and turns in the plot lend the book to an adventure filled and suspensefull movie, as do the beautiful and diverse settings Most definitely a "two thumbs up" novel and movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Someday Comes, May 5, 2000
This review is from: Someday Comes (Paperback)
A provacative and descriptive novel which kept my attention and could not be put down. I was both entranced and intrigued throughout. A must read for anyone who yearns for experiencing the lust, lore, romance, and power of the sea. I would recommend to anyone wishing a detour from the norm.
