I ordered this book for my 3 1/2 year old Grandson. To my surprise and delight, his first request after finishing the book was for me to read it to him again....and again...and again.

The illustrations are clever along with the use of language. As an early childhood educator I am pleased to say that there are many levels of learning and enjoyment from the illustrations to the wonderful characters. Most importantly, the book encourages children to think about what they may want to be when they grow up.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to enjoy a story with someone small they love.

My three year old loves to read this story over and over again. The gorgeous illustrations let him know exactly what each page is going to be about so he can participate. It is the perfect segue to discuss what different types of "work" really mean and why people love what they do.
