About the Author

Jon Sheppard is addicted to adventure. He traveled as a child growing up and hasn't slowed down since. As a young adult he was in the boat charter, SCUBA diving business in the West Indies. Diving for sunken treasure and underwarter photography was a daily routine. In Tennessee he started his own rock climbing school and whitewater river guiding and kayaking. On his artistic side, he played drums for the

Country Music giants and did television production as a TV camerman.

Jon now lives in the Colorado high country where skis in the winter, climbs mountains and runs rivers in the summer. In between he finds time to travel the back roads for his various photography projects.

The images captured by Jon are truly amazing. You turn each page looking forward to the next breath taking view. You close the book feeling like you have just taken a journey, living each picture reflected. A great coffee table book.
