This is the best book!,
By Molly Lukasavich (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
This is the best book I've ever read. I was guessing until the end "who done it". I had to do a report about my favorite book in my reading class and I choose this book. I loved the authors style. Kurt and the escaped killer was the perfect twist to the two strangers. I would recommend this book to everyone and anyone! Happy Reading!

Richie's "Scaredya!" trademark,
By A Customer
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
By now, if anyone's following my reviews and advice and actually reading the books I recommend, you'll know that Richie is an expert at making you not put down her book. Then she scares you half to death, and it's actually fun. Her trademark "God I'm so scared but I'll be brave and find the killer" heroine is here, and the mysterious cute guy (THE reason to read Richie's stuff, girls!), and the killer whom everyone thinks is the cute guy but is in actual fact...

The ending is so surprising!,
By Lyn (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
This book is about Hannah and her younger sister Meg who is in ninth grade. They get stranded at home during a huge blizzard, and their parents are not home (I forget where they are), so it is just the two of them and their dog. To make matters worse, the two girls heard on the radio that there is a killer loose.
The first night of the blizzard, there is a knock on the door. Two young men, Lance and Jonathon, have been hurt and need a place to stay to wait out the blizzard. At first Hannah is wary about letting them in the house since they are strangers, but she lets them in anyways. During the next few days, strange things begin to happen that can't be explained. Hannah doesn't know who to suspect for these strange happenings, especially because she doesn't even know these two guys. The ending of this book is very brilliant and unpredictable, simply because it does not end like usual scary stories. On the other hand, the ending was a bit disappointing to me because it wasn't as fun as I had hoped it to be. However, I am sure that this is because I have read too many generic horror stories. I really think that fans of Cusick's will enjoy it, but it was not my favorite book written by her.

My Favorite Book To Date!.....,
By T (Sacramento, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
Hannah and Meg live miles from the nearest neighbor. There is a big snowstorm on its way, and they've heard that if the power is to go out, it can take weeks to restore it! Still, they aren't worried about being home alone until their parents call to tell them that they're snowed-in at the airport. The call from their parents and the news brief that an escaped killer is headed in their direction is the last two things they hear before the electricity goes out. Then, in the middle of the night, the two sisters get a knock on their door! Two wounded, half-frozen strangers stand in their doorway, asking to stay the night. Of course (for protection, according to them), they refuse to leave in the morning, and strange things occur. The dog disappears, along with their axe, and the girls realize they don't know the guys at all!I thought that "Someone at the Door" was unbelievable! Richie Tankersley Cusick (one of the best horror writers out there) concocts a story full of mystery and horror. The scenery adds to the suspense; two girls, miles away from anyone, helpless. The events were thrilling and surprising, and the ending was shocking. A must-read for all horror fans! Also recommended:

I thought this book was one of the best that i have read. It was the first book that i read by RTC and I'm in here looking for more...This book is a major thriller. When Hannah and Meg's parents are gone a huge snow storm comes to there area...during the night 2 men come to the house one very badly hurt...of course Hannah and Meg take them in and took care of them...as the book goes on mysterious things happen, for example there dog disappears. The girls start to suspect that the men are the one's responsiable for the things that are happening and don't know what to do...I loved this book and hope that if you read it you would too...I recomend this book to EVERYONE! I hope that this has helped you decide if you would like to buy this book or not.. BYE BYE

The is the first book I have ever read by Richie Tankersley Cusick and trust me it wont be my last! I love this book. Its got supence, horrer, makes your mind think, scary, sweet, and so so easy to get into, it even has a touch of romance! Its so so awsome. I was trying to guess who the killer was the whole time and I ended up changing my thoughts 4 times and at the end all my guesses were wrong! See if you can guess the killer to this amazeing page turner book!

Someone at the door: A heart pounding mystery novel,
By Alohalani (Maui, HI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
I really loved this book. It was the first one of hers that I read. The susspense really kills you. But I didn't like how it ended. But I'll let you find out on your own. I really don't like to read unless the begining is good. If it is not i will put the book down and never touch it again which shows alot about this book.CAUTION: Reading at night in your room with only a lamp or small dim light on could scare you. I really recomend SOMEONE AT THE DOOR to you.

I love all of Mrs.Cusick's books, but I have to say this is one of her best books. I got really into the charactors. I love the two guys in the story! If you want action, romance, and horor, this is the book!

One of my favorites growing up,
This review is from: Someone at the Door: Someone at the Door (Paperback)
No author really did it for me when I was 13-16 quite like this one. She spins thrills and romances masterfully...but I have a tendency towards giving into temptation and often wished (inappropriately) there'd be sexual scenes in her books. But, in a way, the tease is so much more fun. This one was one of my favorites that I'd read. There's a lot of tension from many angles, it's brilliant for a young adult book.
