One of the great "Late Night" discoveries - I awoke to hear Lapush performing on Carson Daly's show - and was totally blown away. The CD was everything I was hoping for and then some: what a solid, talented band... and no, they are definitely NOT an "American Coldplay". Very original, easy to listen to, not soft or hard rock... but a genuinely terrific place inbetween. Track #6 "Quit You Now" is beautiful, moving, and haunting, music doesn't get better than this. No one would or could be disappointed by this gem of a CD; this is a band that will catch on with the rest of the American public hopefully sooner than later!

Good solid CD...,

A very solid, consistent CD that will be a pleasure to listen to. Tracks 2 & 3 have a sound similar to Travis. Track #4 is a total ode to The Verve, circa "Urban Hymns" If you like the Verve, you will love this track. Tracks 5 & 6 are very good as well. The CD finishes off with a nice little number. Highly recomended.

I had their CD before they were signed they are amazing. They are now only a three piece but they sound even better. They remind me of the Verve or U2

I think Car song has great radio potential. This is a great group. This album brings it all to the table. Buy it now. They put on a great show. I have seen them 3 time in concert now.

Theeeeze guys are sick, and by sick I mean they are young and healthy (and totally sweet) boys from the S-t-l who will draw comparisons to Keane (Somewhere Only We Know) sounding like Coldplay (Parachutes/Rush of Blood) to Travis (the Man Who) starting with Radiohead (the Bends). And they do sound similar to the latter two (Keane and Coldplay are more reliant on piano/keyboard). If you like those bands buy this album. And yet they are a refreshing band, you say?
Indeed. I saw them live last Friday. I bought a `Lapush' sticker from this cute girl and some guy comes up and gets change at the bar for her and I do a double before asking the girl if, "Holy SHlT, was that Thom....uh...Thom...(to self) dumb@ss, what's his last name...." "...that's my husband," the girl says. Her husband, the lead singer, was getting my change! I immediately hand her more money without looking and ask to buy the $2 poster for him to sign. "Uh, I owe you $19." Thom comes back, gives me the change and we start talking. Anyway I say something about the album being $8 on the net. They were selling it for $10, and he asked if it was on Amazon and I said yeah. So he says buy an album for $8 and let me sign it. Well he signed it and (guitarist) signed it and the drummer would have but I didn't see him. I heard later he was busy being the man. Well I come to find out later the CD is a steal for $9.99 . It is refreshing to see a lead singer whose not a megalomaniac (Gallager brothers), plays a fool on the world stage (Bono), base clown (Fred Durst) but a good guy who sings and writes well behind strong instrumentals and melodies. This guy went and got change for me and for his wife, took the time to shoot the bull with me, reduced his CD $2 than signed it with another member of the band before going on stage and putting on a hell of a show. See for yourself: go to lapush.net and watch the downloads from the Carson (douche) Daly Show and listen to the stream of their songs. Shame on Amazon for not having the audios. Check it out, see for yourself. See them live.

Good, quality CD...Nice easy listening that everyone can enjoy! I also heard that LaPush is really good live because I have some friends in St. Louis (where they're from) and they said they put on a rad show. Everyone should be getting stoked over this CD....
