"...you will fall right into Sandy Henry's inaugural book... You won't want to put the book down." -- Jan Bachman - Devenish Press, Boulder, CO

From the Publisher

Abby Duncan can't sleep. She's just accepted a challenging new position at a prestigious Pittsburgh hospital. She's dreading her looming milestone birthday. And now she's got a wedding to plan. But from the moment her fiance, Rick Cassidy, places the antique engagement ring on her finger, she begins to experience vivid, haunting dreams.

First she sees a terrified young woman hiding from an intruder in her home. Then she discovers that the intruder had been dispatched to the house. And later, through her nightmares, Abby witnesses the murder of the young woman, on whose finger shines a pale blue heirloom ring set in rich, white platinum.

So, with the ring on her finger and a driving desire to solve the homicide believed by all to be a botched burglary, Abby, along with a handsome, skeptical detective, pieces together a sinister conspiracy. And soon, her own life is in jeopardy when, like the woman in her dreams, Abby gets in the way of the killer's evil plot...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Swede's review..., August 18, 2004
This review is from: Something Borrowed, Something Blue (Paperback)
A perfect murder mystery with a touch of the supernatural, a number of possible suspects which will put wild guesses of motive in your head. Twists and turns that will make your thoughts fall apart, and some romance on top of that. What more can anyone want?
Sandy's way of describing with random details makes the characters and the scenes come alive, as well as they made me laugh in the middle of the dramatized and puzzling chapters.
The only problem with this book is that while reading it on the beach you'll forget to turn and lay on the other side in the sun. The book keeps you hooked! I wish I had Sandy's next mystery at the beach already tomorrow.

"Something Borrowed Something Blue is a thrill ride of a mystery that keeps the reader guessing at every turn.
Sandy Henry not only propels you at top speed, but for good measure, she will throw in a twist that will plunge you to the bottom screaming."

Something Borrowed, Something Blue is a WONDERFUL book! Once you pick it up, you will never want to put it down! It makes you feel as if you are the main character, Abby Duncan, and these exciting and scary things are actually happening to you! Anyone that enjoys a good "murder mystery" book should read this novel.
I give it two thumbs up, and I can't wait until Sandy's next book comes out! I will be the first person in line to buy it!
