A good book for young girls.,

I read this book years ago when I was in elementary school. It is an excellent book for young girls. The characters are all either high school or college students and the book focuses on the wedding of one of them. There are no deep moral or social issues in this book. It's just a cute story about teenagers and is predictable from the begining. I still think that younger girls today would enjoy this book, although it was written in the 80's, so there may be a few references that they can't truly appreciate.
