Song Order:
1. Hurricane (Leaving Through the Window) 2. 21 and Invincible (North) 3. As You Sleep (North) 4. I Woke Up in a Car (LTTW) 5. If I Die (Ready... Break) 6. Me and the Moon (North) 7. I Kissed a Drunk Girl (Ready... Break; LTTW; Live at Fillmore Theater) 8. Only Ashes (North) 9. Ruthless (North) 10. Fall (LTTW) 11. Down (North) 12. Wait (Galaxy Sessions; Live at Fillmore Theater) 13. Walking By (Audioboxer; Songs for Silent Movies) 14. Konstantine (Ready... Break; Songs for Silent Movies) 15. Space (North) 16. If U C Jordan (Audioboxer; Galaxy Sessions; LTTW; Live at Fillmore Theater) 17. Punk Rock Princess (Audioboxer; Galaxy Sessions; LTTW; Live at Fillmore Theater; Songs for Silent Movies) This dvd starts off following Andrew, Clutch, Brian, and Josh around. Andrew gets his hair cut; Clutch bowls his best game "while filming the dvd!!"; Josh... I dunno really what he does lol... walks around town a bit; Brian --ah funny guy!-- searches for a music shop to get drum sticks. Man seriously I never knew how funny Brian is;) and Clutch as well! Then the guys get ready to play at Ventura... Then comes the concert! Awesome, awesome performance.. They sound as good live if not better in almost every song! And I have to mention that in "Drunk Girl" Andrew accidently starts to sing the wrong verse, and he is so hilarious about it! Man he's so charming... Anyways they start the concert fast-paced, then slow it down with the songs "Wait", "Walking By", and the famous "Konstantine", which I must say are absolutely gorgeous and emotional here. The band speeds it back up at the end with the fun songs "Space", "If U C Jordan", and "Punk Rock Princess." Definitely a must-have for every SoCo fan out there.. and even if you're hesitant about this band, this concert will surely turn you into the biggest fan!

Something Corporate Rocks!,

Something Corporate fans, it is time to rejoice! Any fan of Something Corporate should buy this DVD right now. Bettter yet, any fan of punk rock should immediately buy this DVD. It contains all of Something Corporates' hit songs including "Punk Rock Princess", "If U C Jordan", and "Space". It also contains a few of their earlier songs like "Wait" and "Walking By", which are some of their best songs. The best part of the DVD is watching Something Corporate perform "Konstantine" whenever you want. It also contains eleven other songs from either Leaving Through the Window, their first CD, or from North, their second and latest CD. There is also a segment where the band is hanging out before the concert. This isn't as entertaining as watching the live concert but it definitely ads a little humor to the experience. Fans of Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, or New Found Glory, will definitely love not only Something Corporates' live DVD but also their music. This DVD can also make a great gift for any punk rockers out there.

SoCo: Live at the Ventura Theater,
By
This review is from: Something Corporate - Live at the Ventura Theater (DVD)
I saw SoCo live at my school when they did a show at the end of the year and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. This show they did for the DVD was BETTER then the one at my school. Not saying the one at my school was bad, but this one's awesome. If you're a fan of SoCo, defiantly get this DVD, because it's just like buying a ticket to one of their shows. I bought it about two weeks ago and probably have watched it 10+ times. Defiantly buy it!!!

Encore!!,

I loved it from start to finish! Not only did the DVD feature a great live concert but it showed behind the scenes footage of the band members preparing for the concert. It gave me an inside scoop into their psyche which made the show that much more enjoyable to watch. The concert was energy driven with some beautiful raw moments. I loved watching Andrew play the piano with one hand, jump up and down engaging his audience and giving all of himself to the moment. The band matched his raw talent and energy. Encore!

Something Corporate- Live at Ventura Theater,

I've been a fan of Something Corporate for quite a while. I recently bought this DVD and was blown away. It starts out with the boys getting ready. Andrew gets his haircut. Clutch (or Cluth as written on the bowling ball) bowls his best game. Josh goes shopping. And lastly, Brian goes on a search for drumsticks because ironically, he forgot his. The concert section of this DVD is Amazing. The play about 17 songs from Leaving through the window, North, and Ready...Break all of which are sounding fantastic. Nothing can beat watching Konstantine performed live. The one critism about this DVD is that they don't play my favourite song, Straw Dog. If you're not already in love with Something Corporate, you will be after you watch this DVD.

Great Addition For SoCo Fans,
By
This review is from: Something Corporate - Live at the Ventura Theater (DVD)
Live at the Ventura Thatre is a great addition for a few reasons. First, it is an anthology of sorts, containing songs from albums 'Leaving Through The Window' and 'North', their EP 'Audioboxer', and also includes a live version of fan-favorite "Konstantine". Second, it offers a glimpse into the group's personal lives, capturing vignettes of each member at rest or at play, or preparing for performance. Third, the performance is fabulous. The live sound is very good, the trademark piano is up-front when necessary, and McMahon's vocals are spot-on. Just because McMahon is the frontman, though, doesn't mean that the rest of the group is ignored during the live performance. Every member of the group is an equal contributor to the performance, and the fans aren't ignored either, as audience shots abound.
Highlights for me were "Twenty-One And Invincible", "Hurricane" (which opens the live music on the disc), and "Me And The Moon", which acquires a nice guitar edge thanks to Josh Partington and really features McMahon connecting with his audience. The disc ends on a high note with two rockers off 'Leaving Through The Window', "If U C Jordan" and "Punk Rock Princess". This was a very worthwhile purchase.

Live and at Their Best...,

I got into Something Corporate not too long ago, and I'm mad I didn't sooner, 'cause they freaking own! But anyways, about the DVD... It starts off following the guys around town before the show and I must say, they're pretty funny. The concert starts out strong with "Hurricane," stays strong throughout the show, and ends strong with "Punk Rock Princess." So overall, it's a very good, strong show. My personal favorite is "Only Ashes." Everything about that song is awesome - the intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge - all awesome. It's just a sraight foward rock song. I highly recommend this DVD and any other Something Corporate music you can get your hands on. I rented the DVD from Blockbuster Online, and since I can have it as long as I want, I'm contemplating keeping it because I like it that much.

I LOVE Something Corporate. Their songs are catchy, fun, and awesome to rock too. I've been to 2 of their shows and this CD ROCKS cause it's just like being at a show. The bonus feature is hilarious, the show has tons of songs, and the crowd's favorite Konstanine is amazing. DON'T THINK TWICE JUST GET IT!!! You will enjoy :)

first off, let me say that this is freaking AMAZING. konstantine is my favorite song of all time, and seeing it live made me love it even more [if that's even possible!]. but i was confused about one thing: i watched this whole dvd on the TV, and loved it. then, i stuck it into my computer and discovered....wait for it....STRAW DOG. and i'm thinking to myself, "hey, i don't remember this part...that sounds like Straw Dog", now, i don't know about you guys, but i'm in awe. anybody else see this part on the dvd?

This is an amazing DVD. It was a great choice of venues to shoot at the Ventura Theatre. The venue really accents the music well. It is great that Konstantine is finally on a hard copy of something released. ME and the Moon was a great performance. It is amazing to see Andrew rock out on his piano! Definetly worth the money to have this in your collection.
