anything any band out there is doing, scarlet isnt doing, simply because they stand out as one of the best violent agressive music you can possibly listen to. just listen to them and you'll know why they really do stand out. not as some screamo hxc or whatever the hell everyone is into, but truly good music. anticipate their full length march 9

Sick. The one word to describe Scarlet. They are the best thing to happen to hardcore since tight jeans. I downloaded their song "Carbon Copy Killer" and was hooked. Although only clocking in at 12:25, this CD is well worth your money. With some of the most monstrous and dischordant guitar sounds I have ever heard and a rhythm section that puts any mathcore band to shame, Scarlet is definately on top of the hardcore game. Akin to Every Time I Die only darker and heavier, the only word I can really think of to describe them is chaotic. And with lyrical overtones alluding to sex, drugs, and violence, this CD is pure balls. Like the singer says in track 5 "I am the savior of Rock N Roll" Scarlet might be just that.

this is great stuff. it sounds very similar to meshuggah at times, and like dillenger escape plan at others. track 1 and 6 are superb. check this out.

Hardcore sucks.,

This EP is akin to Nine Inch Nails's Broken... They don't sound alike, but they're similar in the sense that they're both short, and better than most full-length CDs.
Listen closely. I don't like most hardcore bands, but Scarlet is better than most hardcore bands. "Revolver", alone, warrants the purchase of the whole album. And it's not even my favorite track. If you enjoy loud, screaming, horrible music You will not regret buying this album, which I hope you will do soon after finishing this sentence. Did you buy it yet?

The vox is what stands most in here to me... I mean, its brutal and it also has its own originality to it! I heard about this guys on the new england metal&hardcore fest and i had the plesure to see them perform... I was quite impress! Oh yeah, also haste is another great band! Support them to! Buy it !
