(RAW Rating: 3.5) - Naughty & Nice, May 1, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Becker Style is known for its conservative business wear and straight-laced professional image. For Damon Becker, it's very hard for him to understand why his ailing grandmother has agreed on a business venture with Naughty Devil (ND), a sexy line of products from lingerie and edible panties to body lotions. His grandmother insists they must do something to raise their bottom line and basically overrules his objections. She sets up a meeting with Tanika Davis, the co-owner of ND, and pushes them together to work on the marketing campaign.
Tanika is used to doing her own thing and isn't interested in a serious relationship of any kind. Casual sex works for her. When she meets Damon, she definitely wants to find out what lies beneath his stiff exterior, but doesn't agree with mixing business with pleasure. Damon on the other hand, isn't convinced that the products are tasteful, nor up to the reputation of Becker Style, but he can't deny his attraction to Tanika. The more they're thrown together, the more the temperature rises between them and eventually they're both on a road to discovering things beyond the pages of their campaign.
SOMETHING NAUGHTY was a sexy story, sure to enhance any late night of reading. Delilah Dawson has done a great job of mixing Tanika's more sensual side with the straight-laced Damon. Their interactions were steamy, the dialogue was tantalizing, and the range of their emotions was believable. They varied from practical to romantic, and draw in the reader. Unfortunately, towards the end, Dawson threw in a few conventional scenes, often seen in romance novels, and it took away from my overall enjoyment of the story. Also, the ending was too predictable for my liking. I do, however, think readers of both romance novels and erotic romances will enjoy SOMETHING NAUGHTY.

Naughty is oh so nice...., January 28, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Delilah Dawson's Something Naughty is an erotic romance that is at the same time HOT and hilarious. I love the 'when opposites attract' storyline at play in the novel. Damon Becker is a straight-laced businessman who is about to head up his family's longstanding business wear company. The company makes fine tailored suits for men and women. So, imagine his surprise when he finds out that his ailing grandmother has struck up a business partnership with a Naughty Devil, a company that sells things like edible underwear, velvet handcuffs and the like. And imagine his surprise when he meets one of the company's owners, the lovely and very sexy Tanika Davis. She pushes him past his comfort zones and he pushes back. She inspires him to delve into his naughty side and when brother man is unleashed... Well, all I can say is get your fan ready! I love the way that Delilah Dawson works the fantasies in ways that are both playful and sexy. And I also love the way she is able to emotionally pull the reader in to the story even with all the fun and sex. That to me is the mark of a wonderfully written erotic romance. I cared deeply about all the characters. If you like a book that will have you laughing out loud one minute and reaching for a fan or a glass of ice water the next, then do yourself a favor and try Something Naughty.

Naughty Indeed!, January 28, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Dawson has put together another hot one! The book also had me cracking up. Also there were those heart felt moments as well. She put together who did not seen right for each other but went together perfectly. I liked the secondary characters as well. Grandma was a fiesty lady. Also I liked how she flipped it to where the woman was the one putting up the road blocks in the relationship. A word of caution you going to need a fan, a bucket of ice water and some more sutff when you read this one. HOT HOT HOT HOOOOOT!
