Becker Style is known for its conservative business wear and straight-laced professional image. For Damon Becker, it's very hard for him to understand why his ailing grandmother has agreed on a business venture with Naughty Devil (ND), a sexy line of products from lingerie and edible panties to body lotions. His grandmother insists they must do something to raise their bottom line and basically overrules his objections. She sets up a meeting with Tanika Davis, the co-owner of ND, and pushes them together to work on the marketing campaign.

Tanika is used to doing her own thing and isn't interested in a serious relationship of any kind. Casual sex works for her. When she meets Damon, she definitely wants to find out what lies beneath his stiff exterior, but doesn't agree with mixing business with pleasure. Damon on the other hand, isn't convinced that the products are tasteful, nor up to the reputation of Becker Style, but he can't deny his attraction to Tanika. The more they're thrown together, the more the temperature rises between them and eventually they're both on a road to discovering things beyond the pages of their campaign.

SOMETHING NAUGHTY was a sexy story, sure to enhance any late night of reading. Delilah Dawson has done a great job of mixing Tanika's more sensual side with the straight-laced Damon. Their interactions were steamy, the dialogue was tantalizing, and the range of their emotions was believable. They varied from practical to romantic, and draw in the reader. Unfortunately, towards the end, Dawson threw in a few conventional scenes, often seen in romance novels, and it took away from my overall enjoyment of the story. Also, the ending was too predictable for my liking. I do, however, think readers of both romance novels and erotic romances will enjoy SOMETHING NAUGHTY.

5.0 out of 5 stars Naughty is oh so nice...., January 28, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Delilah Dawson's Something Naughty is an erotic romance that is at the same time HOT and hilarious. I love the 'when opposites attract' storyline at play in the novel. Damon Becker is a straight-laced businessman who is about to head up his family's longstanding business wear company. The company makes fine tailored suits for men and women. So, imagine his surprise when he finds out that his ailing grandmother has struck up a business partnership with a Naughty Devil, a company that sells things like edible underwear, velvet handcuffs and the like. And imagine his surprise when he meets one of the company's owners, the lovely and very sexy Tanika Davis. She pushes him past his comfort zones and he pushes back. She inspires him to delve into his naughty side and when brother man is unleashed... Well, all I can say is get your fan ready! I love the way that Delilah Dawson works the fantasies in ways that are both playful and sexy. And I also love the way she is able to emotionally pull the reader in to the story even with all the fun and sex. That to me is the mark of a wonderfully written erotic romance. I cared deeply about all the characters. If you like a book that will have you laughing out loud one minute and reaching for a fan or a glass of ice water the next, then do yourself a favor and try Something Naughty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Naughty Indeed!, January 28, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Dawson has put together another hot one! The book also had me cracking up. Also there were those heart felt moments as well. She put together who did not seen right for each other but went together perfectly. I liked the secondary characters as well. Grandma was a fiesty lady. Also I liked how she flipped it to where the woman was the one putting up the road blocks in the relationship. A word of caution you going to need a fan, a bucket of ice water and some more sutff when you read this one. HOT HOT HOT HOOOOOT!

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Erotic Romance *Small spoilers*, January 26, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Something Naughty is the second book I read from Ms. Dawson and it is absolutely awesome. It was a hot, sexy, and erotic read.

Uptight Damon Becker is now in a business partership with Naughty Devil (an intimate women's lingerie/erotic store). Thanks to his grandmother their stuffy clothing line will be getting a little flare. Sensuous Tamika Davis will be putting together the marketing campaign utilizing the products from Naughty Devil. Tamika has a very "sex only" outlook and Damon doesn't. Who will break who? It was soo fun reading to find out.

First let me tell you why I gave this book four stars and not 5. I like Truth or Dare better. For as good as this book was it just didn't top it. So I could not give it the same rating as Truth or Dare.
Though the whole book was interesting and different when she went into the very familiar territory of "trapped in a cabin" scenario the book then became plane and like all others (not knocking all others, but what I admire about Delilah is her originality and ability to make you want to put down the book and go grab someone). The ending seemed rushed, it is just one of my pet peeves when marriage proposals come out of thin air and the book ends, though we find it often in romance. It just kind of makes me roll my eyes. That too was like all others and again I like her spice and different twist to things.

I LOVED the way she integrated the marketing campaign into the story. I really saw the ads and displays and it wasn't just there, but was part of the erotic tale. The book was a fast paced and quick read. It captures you from the first to the last word. All in all it was an EXCELLENT read, just have someone nearby cause some scenes were thai chilli hot. Excellent job.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whew! Its VERY HOT in January!!!, January 18, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Wow! This book should come (no pun intended) with a warning label - this HOT and erotic story between Damon and Tanika BURNS!!! What started out as physical attraction becomes emotional. Damon's fiesty grandma also gives a nice balance to this story. So nice to read a through love scene involving African Americans. Just goes to show - you really don't know what a person is like until they are undressed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Naughty Boy, January 11, 2007

In Delilah Dawson's Something Naughty, Damon Becker is unwilling to go along with his grandmother's decision to partner with Naughty Devil to promote both businesses. Tanika, part owner of ND perceives Damon as being cold, stiff and definetly against the project. Tanika soon finds out Damon is "a naughty boy".

I enjoyed this story for many reasons, one being it mostly centered around Damon and Tanika's relationship without a lot of secondary characters to keep up with. The "action" between Damon and Tanika was hot.

Ms Dawson has definetly become one of my favorite authors and I can hardly wait for her next offering.

4.0 out of 5 stars heated erotica, January 14, 2007
This review is from: Something Naughty (Mass Market Paperback)
Damon Becker is stunned when his grandmother Henrietta informs him that she wants to expand the Becker Style Tailoring business suits to include items like edible bras and panties, and other sexual paraphernalia made by Naughty Devil. Damon absolutely opposes what he believes is a horrific idea as the junk sold by Naughty Devil is outside the core competencies and values of Becker Style Tailoring whose customers are very conservatively dressed.

ND co-owner Tanika Davis sees a natural match as the hard working man comes home to his sexy wife (or visa versa) for some fun time. She thinks her adversary is quite a hunk and would not mind sacking him, but wants nothing to do with his uptight (except where it counts) personality. Damon may not want to sell ND items in their BST catalogue, but admits he would love to dine on one of their bras if Tanika was modeling it. Still a deal is a deal so Mr. Prim and Proper is handcuffed to Ms. loose and voluptuous with neither expecting their attraction to lead to love.

Erotic romance readers will enjoy this fine tale of love in the boardroom (and several other places). The attraction between the lead couple is magnetic as the audience will feel the heat each emits that turns volcanic once they touch. However, instead of strategic business mission and vision serving as his prime opposition, he behaves as Mr. Starched Underwear; that is until Ms. Kinky starches his body parts. Fans of torrid tales of love will enjoy reading SOMETHING NAUGHTY while wondering how to get an invite to the Erotique Ball.
