5.0 out of 5 stars Loved the invitation and wedding program ideas
in Something Old, Something New. My groom and I used photos from our childhood on the front of our wedding invitations and had photos of our wedding party printed in our program along with a little history about our friendship/relationship to each attendant. Our wedding guests loved looking through our scrapbook of sorts while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as many "great" ideas as I thought
If your looking for a way to celebrate your heritage and culture, this book has many great ideas on how to incorporate ethnic traditions. But otherwise, I really didn't find many original ideas that truly would make my wedding unique. Instead, most were silly and impracticle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved the themes!, July 31, 2000

The book's many themes for not only the reception, but also the bridesmaids' luncheon and rehearsal dinner were great! We choose the book's wine theme for our rehearsal dinner and not only offered a wine tasting to our guests, but also sent each couple home with personalized bottles of a "Nuptual Zinfandel" that featured our picture and wedding date.

What a great planning resource! The book is loaded with creative ideas like the personlized drink menu. Everyone really enjoyed all the unique ideas that we used in both our ceremony and reception.
