Great Story Like Every Other One Of His Books!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Something Passed by Stories from the Blue World (Audio Cassette)
Ok, You can FIND this story in The Blue world book which as we know is a collection of short stories.. :) The lastest info that i have heard is that Mr. R. McCammon has for some reason stopped writing the great stories we have and read and loved (Swan Song, Mystery walk, They Thirst..) Oh my.. and if you can believe this, is writing children's books!! All i have to say is, sometime PLEASE tell me this is not true!! I miss his books so much! He's my favourite author, and he's so greatly missed.. I wish people would not do this to us.. Leave us hanging without knowing what the REAL truth is to why he has stopped writing these awsome books! Cheers everyone!!

RETIRED!,

I was wondering why I've seen nothing new lately from this favorite author. A short search has revealed that he has officially retired from writing as of November,1999. Anyone have any idea why?

For those of you wondering... I read on a website about a year ago that Robert was coming out with a new novel... they even had a picture of the cover art. I don't remember the naem, but Robert said it was going to be a real departure from his work with more supernatural leanings. Hope it comes out soon!

Information for the reader from Washington State,

To the reader from Washington State . . . I have read ALL the books from him, except this one. I have also looked in bookstores for the last 7 years waiting for something new from him, I have found NOTHING! For this reason, I am under the impression that he has stopped writing. So, oh well, I guess we will never have the sequel to Swan Song, (Which I feel is his BEST book!) I have read it at least 4 times!! :-)

Where this book is,

If anyone is looking for this story - it's in the "Blue World" short story anthology. It's a short story about the end of the world. Really, really wierd stuff (kinda like "Pin"). One of my all time faves.

I haven't read this book, I don't think, but I love all his books and I wanted to know if anyone knows if Robert McCammon is still writing and publishing?

I just discovered McCammon a few weeks ago when I picked up a copy of Swan Song at a thrift store. He is an amazing story teller. I now have a new favorite author and am trying to locate a copy of all of his works. I understand he no longer writes - our loss.
