My 92 year old Grandmother and I have the relationship that was written about. When I read this book it touched my heart deeply and brought back so many feelings about my Grandma. She recently was moved to a Nursing Home and for the first time this last visit she did not know me. This book helped me realize that just because she may not know who I am, I'll never forget who "I" am and how important she was in making me the person I am today. I took this book and shared it with her although I am not sure she understood it. I had her to write a message in the book and sign it with her famous "Granny" scribble so that I can cherish this story and someday share it with my grandchildren that I hope to have. When they look at me in wonder about why I let have anything they want at the store or why I let them have my complete attention, I'll share this special book with them. I think all chldren should have grandmothers like the one in the story.

"Something To Remember Me By" will be a Christmas gift for my oldest granddaughter. Kayla will open her gift to find this wonderful book and a little butterfly pin of mine that she has admired. Reading "Something..." inspired me to put together a memorable gift for a special grandchild from her doting grandmother. Grandmothers, everywhere, will love this beautifully told story that touches on the essence of a grandmother/granddaughter relationship. Thank you, Susan, for my children's book of the year. My heart was touched by your words, and I've shared your story with my friends.

My granddaughter and I share a Birthday. There was an article about "Something to Remember Me By" and the success it has achieved in our local paper. I guess great minds really do think alike, as both myself and my granddaughter thought what a perfect and wonderful gift it would be. We both ended up giving it to each other on our shared Birthdays. You should have seen our surprised faces when we realized the coincidence.

This book IS perfect for giving to children and adults. I've recommended it to several of my friends and I always hear great praise back for what a wonderful little book it is.

I came across this book by accident and it was one of those treasures that you say to yourself, "how come I haven't seen this before?" I immediately had to give it to my grandma because it was the perfect way to say how much I loved her. There is no better book (and she thinks so too). A GREAT gift recommendation.

When I read "Something to Remember Me By" I couldn't believe the treasure I had found. I immediately got copies for all my friends. It's one of those books that really gets to you and needs to be shared with children & adults. A "must have" for anybody who loves quality children's books.

This small book packs a big wallop - it says all one would hope to say about the warmth and love of a grandmother for her grandaughter; and vice versa. A wonderful book for Christmas or any time of year. Take a Kleenex - you might shed a tear or two but happy ones.

The story begins with the author's visits as a little girl to her grandmother's house and tells about the gifts her grandmother gives her over time, As the little girl grows, she develops an understanding--through the gifts her grandmother gives her--of why it is important for people to be remembered. This is a book that will make you laugh...and cry.

Book arrived quickly and reasonable condition (some pages a little wrinkled - but acceptable). Excellent story. My 10-year old daughter read it to my wife and me. We all loved the story!
