Amazon.com Review

Billed as a training manual for entering Earth's future, Something in This Book Is True is about harnessing the personal power inside each of us. It's a companion to Frissell's earlier effort, Nothing in This Book Is True, but It's Exactly How Things Are, about which Jay Kinney of Wired said, "despite the sheer unbelievability of half the book, the author's goodwill and spiritual intentions are so infectious that the book ends up being a heartwarming experience." In the first book, Frissell took New Age sentiments and blended them with conspiracy theories in an attempt at a unified theory, including alien grays, cattle mutilations, crop circles, the Great Pyramid, Sacred Geometry, and secret colonies on Mars. In Something in This Book Is True, he takes time to retrace that particular history and leads readers into the realm of the millennial future. Of note to those interested in comics artists are the six full-page illustrations by underground artist Spain. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

After reading the first book, I was blown away by the total integration of Bob Frissel's material. He has done it again in this second book. It's more than a sequel. It's a necessary companion to the first book! If you liked 'Nothing...' 'Something...' has the same qualities, only more so. The books should be sold together! This book is one of such complete integration that one can only agree, or dissagree completely with it. No part of the book can be taken without taking it in it's entirety! A MUST read for anyone interested in unravelling the 'secrets' of existence!

The author means well, but this book doesn't measure up to the first one. The first half of the book is informative, but the second half of the book reads like a plug for rebirthing and gets too auto-biographical and boring. I think this book will hurt Mr. Frisell's credibility and that's a shame because he really does have a lot to offer.

Sadly, I was disappointed. Like an earlier reviewer stated, the first half of the book is very interesting and informative, but the second half is bland to say the least.

During the first half, Frissell touches on topics such as the greys, sirians, atlantis, kennedy assassination, etc. but the second half is nothing but a boring and incomprehensible synopsis of rebirthing sessions.

However, on a side note, the topics he touched on did remind me to buy books more focused on topics I was interested in.

His first book, _Nothing_in_This_Book_is_True,_But_it's_Exactly_How_Things_Are_ is a more interesting and informative read.

I actually enjoyed this book more than Frissell's first ("Nothing in this Book is True..."). His writing is sharp, even a bit funny, and the information is very concise--a rarity with books this ambitious. The second half of the book is particularly compelling, where Frissell discusses his own experiences with EST, rebirthing, Babaji and various other metaphysical/spiritual thought systems. I read it like a primer on these different subjects, and it has saved me from having to research them to death myself. My only issue is that I now have to buy the book again to read the expanded, revised version.

This is easily my favorite of Bob's books. His facts are way off but the Something true in this book is well worth it. The personal story about EST and getting it is hilarious, as well as the line about him managing to not lock himself out of his car. His encounter with Babaji seems genuine and hearwarming. Skip the "facts" in this one and just listen to Bob's journey. He's a cool guy.

Bob Frissell got down to the nitty gritty here. If you're ready for earth changes, pole shifts, prophesies, a secret government, Grays, ascended masters and Drunvalo Melchizedek, then welcome yourself to the QUICKENING!

Format: Paperback
A bookend companion volume to Bob"s first book" Nothing In This Book Is true, But It's Exactly How Things Are" (15th Anniversary Edition), this book completes the learning curve about our purpose for being here and where we are going as well as how to effectively deal with our everyday life and emotional trauma's. We learn that "we are perfect" and" that resistance leads to persistence" and that "the recreation of an experience makes the experience disappear" (the three notions of est) and then gives us a practical way to integrate our emotional stuff via rebirthing(Conscious Breathing). Read this book and it will enhance your life. It will teach you how to breath the Prana of the ONE SPIRIT, The All That Is. It is a practical guide to speed us on our journey to Ascension. Get this book! You will not be disappointed.
