No review yet? Okay, well then, just on first listen (last night) I'll say it's below the first 4-5 albums in all the things that made Stackridge music interesting and enjoyable, but still these three members know how to resurrect a sound. The first track is one of the best ever S. tunes.

Stackridge - where are they now?,
By Ian Robertson (Swindon, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Something For The Weekend (Audio CD)
Hi fans of Stackridge,My connection to Stackridge started with my old friend, Bill Blake who was Stackridge manager and drummer Billy Sparkle (amongst other names). When Stackridge broke up, Bill worked for a while as personal assistant to the record producer Sir George Martin and later established his own TV company, Billboard TV. Billboard has since gone but Bill still lives in Swindon and continues in ther entertainment business. Bill is a very old friend and one of the nicest guys you could meet. On behalf of Bill, thank you for visiting the Stackridge site and enjoy their brilliant music. Ian Robertson |
