Absolutely awesome!, June 17, 2007
This review is from: Something Worth Dying for (Audio CD)
Yeah, caught TMT in Austin, Texas where they played a lot of their album material. Absolutely loved everything. They have some great songs on this one with, "Daiquiris and Dice", "We Were Getting High" with some great lyrically dark songs such as, "If I Died" and "My Only Friend". I'm not too sure if I like the lyrics or music better, but I definately know this band is professional to the tee. I'll buy every album they ever come out with.

I love this album! They have another CD out called One Road EP with 5 tracks that is outstanding also, which I believe is available at their website www.mothertruckers.com (I haven't found it anywhere else). They are a fantastic band! I saw them open up for a Merle Haggard show and became an instant fan. Since then, I try to catch them anytime they are in town. They are very talented songwriters and the music is fantastic. If you ever get a chance, go see them in concert! Their music is infectious and you won't be able to get it out of your head because it is so good.

Great Country/Rock Band!!!, September 24, 2004
This review is from: Something Worth Dying for (Audio CD)
I saw these guys open up for Huey Lewis at a local venue, and I enjoyed them BETTER than Huey Lewis! I fell in love with them...
If you're a fan of real country music and/or southern rock, make sure you pick this up. Original tunes, and not a bad pick in the bunch. And be sure to listen to the hidden track, which is a cover a song from Steve Martin's movie, The Jerk!
