I was 16 when I saw Dan in Colorado Springs, Colo. It was the virgin concert for Innocent Age. His Father was very ill...and Dan had just written Leader of the Band. He said, only his dogs had heard it. Dan actually got a little weepy because of the rawness of that, almost sacred song. His sweet tears fell into me then and never left. They gave me strength through my own battles with cancer...they helped heal a tatter heart from divorce...they helped me through the midnight hours that comes from loss of a loved one. So yes...not just a song...Sometimes a life raises us and sees us through. It will forever be with so for me.
Please buy the song...help Jean and all who loved the man...so that maybe one day more lives might be saved from the modern-day plague of cancer.

I thought I would never again be able to listen to new music from the best voice in the industry, but, thankfully, I was wrong. What a beautiful song and a beautiful tribute. Jean, how can I ever thank you for allowing me another part of Dan. His music has meant more to me than any other artist and I feel lost without him. Thank you so much, Dan, for all you have brought to my life.

This song was a gift created by Dan for his beloved wife, Jean. Jean has generously "gifted" it to all of us DanFans. Now we fans can have this song and "gift" 99 cents to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. What A lovely gift! The only problem is I can't listen to "Sometimes a Song" without crying. Dan Fogelberg was my favorite singer, musician, songwriter, and performer. I hope Dan knew how much he was loved.

The warmth of his voice sounds as alive as it ever did. A soul hugging love song that I thank Jean for selflessly sharing. He always sung to my heart and will continue to do so albeit from above.

Jean Fogelberg....I don't guess you've ever know how much we all appreciate you making another song of Dan's available.
We have thanked you many times now for sharing him since the day you captured his heart. And now you've shared him again, even in your pain...for that you've captured our hearts.
The voice is gone, but the feelings in Dan's heart for you are so alive. He was everyone's big brother and every girl's dream, but only in a wishful dreamy way. He had the grace of an Eagle and the heart of a true poet. This song shows it. It's true Fogelberg and true love.

It is so good to hear another song from Dan. It's as though his soul lives on. Thanks to Jean for making this Valentine's Day special.

What a wonderful surprise it was to find an invitation to download this song of Dan's for charity. I miss him terribly. I can hardly imagine how much his close ones must miss him. Hearing the sweetness of his voice and the sincerity of his heart was like a balm. You were lucky Jean to have shared that time and love with him. He was a special soul indeed. I am sure he is pleased with this fund raiser.
