This review is from: Sometimes Enough Is Enough: Spiritual Comfort in a Material World (Hardcover)
What I enjoyed from Marsha Sinetar's book is the way in which she brings affirmation and welcome to a potential 'slow down' in ones life. I believe that which many of us long for and do not recognize in our 'rush here, get there, do this' lifestyle ... is breathing room. Marsha gives validation to creating space in ones life for mere nothingness. She offers her readers numerous pictures of what personal sanctuary can look like on an average day, when honored. And she bridges the imagined space between taking moments for selfcare ... with nurturing treasured relationships with others. I felt so validated and affirmed in my quest for making sacred everyday moments. I also received insight and support in choosing to say "no" more often, thus releasing the guilt and paranoia that has rendered previous "no's" unactualized. I celebrate Marsha Sinetar's work .. she gifts me with each and every writing. I am consistantly changed!
