Somewhere Down The Crazy River

It was a cool hazy night in Massachusetts as I "cuddled in" with my wife to watch the great "Robbie Robertson" along with his heavy-ish band do "Somewhere down the Crazy River", accompanied by a Bassist which (Being a bassist and strings player for 40+ years or so, myself)really rocked my ancient spirit, and rhythmical foundations when they played a great 2nd song
with more soul in it than "the opening song": "Crazy River"....it opened another field of music for me as I grooved on the beats of "The Band" from which Mr. Robertson hailed from....Bob Dylan was a graduate of "the Band" years earlier but, this gropu had the red-blooded spirit as it moved my heart to playing Blues, as well as other rhythmic "genres" of the past, and I found that my heart was deeply moved by this North American Native style....I found such more in "Ry Cooder's"
Sound track in another CD I had just bought right here in Amazon.com...."Geronimo" is the name of the next grouping of N.American music that I recommend.

"Wolves" =5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review of this great and meaningful music which brought "icestones from my heart" as "Jake Sully"
rejected "The Colonel" as he should have done in James Cameron's "Avatar", which I found to be a fine reversal of what happened to the "Red Man" and all that proceeded them in No.America only 300 years ago, as scores of treaties were ignored and overwritten as the land disappeared from them when we want what was never ours.
