Such a sweet book and perfect for bedtime!

Each animal family is getting ready for bed with cuddles, baths, hugs and yawns. My little guy is 5 and I was worried at first that he might be too old for a flap book, but not this one. Between you and me, I hope my boys are never too old for bedtime hugs!

My son and I love to read Somewhere So Sleepy, especially at bedtime. The words are easy enough for either one of us to read, we usually take turns. The illustrations by Jui Ishida are beautiful and calming with soft blues, greens, browns and golds. The flaps, which my son has always loved, but ultimately ripped off other books, are actually whole pages that make the entire book must sturdier than I thought it would be.

As each animal family gets ready for bed, the baby animals get more and more tired with each page, making both me and The Five Year Old sleepy as well!

After you read this book to your little one, you'll both be so sleepy and ready for bed! I have to add this to my favorite bedtime book collection, right up there with Goodnight Moon and Guess How Much I Love You!

I don't know how much longer The Five Year Old will want to read books like this with me, so I am very glad that I got to sneak this one in before it was too late!
