5.0 out of 5 stars We Are Listening SELVA
I had never heard of this group at all prior to seeing their CD "Somewhere Tomorrow" at a listening station at Virgin Records. I was quickly fascinated by the catchy title "Somewhere Tomorrow." I took a listen and was amazed. Selva does an outstanding job of grabbing the listener with up-beat rock music and powerful lyrics. My favorite song,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Hmm ...
Well, IMO, I'm not overly impressed. I listen to a variety of music - mostly rock, pop, country. I received this cd for free and thought I'd give it a listen. Honestly, it sounds like a 16 year-old and his buddies in a garage. The vocals are just off and there isn't much going on with instruments. Maybe it's just me and not my taste, but I wouldn't buy any of their...

My favorite song, "Sometimes," reminds of all the good and bad that make up my past. Thanks Selva for the music. I know we can expect more great music in the future.

Selva has really done something special with this CD. From the song "Show you the World," to my favorite "Inside Again," Selva has filled this CD with truly powerful and touching lyrics. Selva has a mature sound with a message that comes across and rings throughout the entire CD. Somewhere Tomorrow is an exciting release that most music fans will come to appreciate. This is just the beginning of much more to come from this band.

Selva is an awesome band, you HAVE to see them live! They just Rock! The thing is, they rarely play live anymore, but I still wanted to review this CD. I have had mine for over a year now and I LOVE IT! If you like good pop/rock music, you'll love "Somewhere Tomorrow" by SELVA! BTW, I heard the singer (Randy Ludwig) is about to release a solo project very soon!

I heard about this CD from the lead singer. He is a good friend of mine. I enjoy the lyrics of the CD. The lyrics are enjoyable to listen to over and over again. Overall, I really enjoy this CD and I would recommend it to those who enjoy great pop/rock music.

I heard about this group from a friend of mine in Phoenix who recommended that I buy this CD. I was truly happy with this purchase. Selva has a really unique clean, clear melodic sound that rocks! The lyrics to these songs are awesome and truly touched me. This CD has songs that can apply to several people in several different situations. Keep it coming Selva, I hope you guys do a show in Dallas...

Honestly, it sounds like a 16 year-old and his buddies in a garage. The vocals are just off and there isn't much going on with instruments. Maybe it's just me and not my taste, but I wouldn't buy any of their cds and I'm pretty tempted to delete them from my iTunes (why waste the space). You know what it reminds me of ... one of your friends getting up and doing karaoke after 10 long islands (or choose your equivalent). Again, just not my taste, but obviously the last reviewer loved them. I say, if you think you're interested to try and find them on youtube or myspace and give 'em a listen before buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than Music!!!, January 17, 2001

You have to go out and buy this CD! Randy Ludwig (the singer) and Lawrence Dunlap (the drummer) have done an outstanding job in grabbing the listener and connecting with the listener on a musical and an emotional level. I heard that the song "Sometimes" has been selected by the independent movie "Truly Awake" which is scheduled to be realesed the fall of 2001. After that movie comes out I think this band is really going to take off. Take my advice and get this CD while you still can, and when this group takes off, you can say you were there from the beggining.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Rockin' forward, March 9, 2000
This review is from: Somewhere Tomorrow (Audio CD)
I have to say, this CD is just the beginning of more great things to come from Selva. I had the opportunity to see these guys play a live show in Phoenix, and these guys really know how to entertain an audience. I ran out and bought the CD the nxt day. This band is full of surprises and has tons of potential. I can't wait to see them get picked up by a major label in the future. Keep it up Selva, there are plenty of us who can truly relate to and appreciate your music!

If I had to describe this CD in one word, I would just say "WOW!" Randy and Lawrence really are on their way to making some real progress in the music industry. I was actually talked in to seeing SELVA by a friend of mine when they did a show in Tempe, AZ. I was so impressed by their show that I ran out and bought their CD. These songs are very cool. They have songs that lift you way up, then they have songs that make you want to re-focus and find out what really matters in life. Rock music lovers of all categories will have no problem liking Somewhere Tomorrow!
