The Heylik... I don't usually write reviews on the books I have read, but this series (and I have reviewed all 3) had me captivated from the very first book and held me tight to the very end. Even though I was sorry to be finishing the series, I loved the end of Helik, it was perfect! I am still hoping for a 4th book in the series. If there is another one, sign me up! I want to be the first in line to buy it.

This book brings together all of the characters and all of the loose ends that have been left as unanswered questions in book 1 and 2. Who is Brother Michael? What is the cause of the new sickness? What is the destiny of the child, Joshua?

The author answered all of the questions that I had, and also blew my mind with some of the new revelations.

i dare any denomination to read this beautiful series and not come away crying in book 3.i havent even finished; but felt compelled to write this,hoping to convince readers how great this is. i want to hear more from this author!

As other reviewers have aptly summarised the storyline, I will merely offer my reaction to this series.

I began reading the first book in this series just over two days ago and read it straight through in one sitting.
Immediately on completing Book 1, I downloaded the following two and devoured them with the same avidity as the first, reading until my Kindle fell on my face at 4am this morning. On awakening at 6am, I began the final chapters of Book 3 and have just clicked the final page.
What a cracker of a read. Next one, PLEASE, CW.

OUTSTANDING. CW Johnson has created a brilliant "end-times" fictional series. If you liked Left Behind, or anything else in the genre, you should get these books. The last book had me in that "can't put it down" frame of mind for days. Can't WAIT for the next installment from this excellent indie author.

This is the first review I have felt compelled to write since getting my kindle a year ago. All three Son of Man books held my attention from beginning to end. These books have it all science (with a little fiction), romance and apocalypse. When I finished the third book, it took about 5 days for me to finish all three, other that being a little angry at the author because of my lack of sleep I was wishing there was a number four.

i gotta say, i don't usually read books nonstop, but this series had me going for the last week reading while on lunch brakes and late hours before bed.
i just finished the trilogy, and it was well worth it. Now I'm just hoping someone will pick this up for a TV series or for a movie so someone can do justice to the amazing visuals. I'd like to see that nice nuclear-like fireball at the end, or the space shuttle biting the big one. The series really went places, FAST.
there's just one thing that bugged me, and it's that it's still unclear whether the author was trying advocate for LDS or not.
Other than that, it has been an amazing ride, and i sincerely cannot wait for the next book in the series (keeping my fingers crossed!)
