Un album muy importante para Sierra Maestra ya que esta hecho para exponer la evolucion y variacion en el Son Cubano. Y esto lo hacen bien, tocando en diferentes temas con diferente instrumentacion, desde cuartetas hasta como nueve agrupantes en otros temas.

Y para eso fue que lo compre yo. Pienso que aprendi mas sobre la musica Cubana. Yo siendo tan salsero, es buena educacion saber como uno de sus antepasados fue evolucionando.

Recently bought this CD and I love it. I went on a trip to Cuba in February and loved the music.It was one of the CD's highly recommended, and as soon as I returned I purchased from my online account. I also like the CD presentation ,because I know very little spanish and I am able to sing along as the words are all there

Sierra Maestra is an exellent group, and this is by far thier greatest and jazziest cd, that is completely traditional Son Montuno's. Great album for dancing or listening, the jazz oriented exotic and spicy guitar solos are what really make thsi album cook, not to mention the soul stirring vocals, and horns. This album swings, and is the essence of Afro-Cuban jazz, and roots music of Cuba! An exellent cd!
