This books expands upon the problems of the Tesla coil of yesteryear and how many of these problems can be solved with today's solid state electronics. Its not highly technical but schematics are present to explain the how and the why.
Best for a beginner to intermediate level of electronics expertise. It also expands on how to chop DC power to drive the primary coil.

I enjoyed this because it is about one of my hero's. It's nothing you can't find elsewhere, but it is nicely assembled and I'm proud to have it on my shelf. Note it's more like a pamphlet than a book.

This is hardly worth the title of "book" since it appears to be a collection of indecipherable notes. It's not so much not well written, more that it's not worth of the word written at all. It's a waste of money.
