I have been buying Craig Anderton's books for many years now. Any book of his has been valuable to my growth as a home studio enthusiast and Cakewalk user. He is a premier expert on Cakewalk products and well known for presenting complicated concepts in an easy-to-read manner. Novices and experienced users will find this book extremely useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sonar Insider by Craig Anderton, November 29, 2005
By
This review is from: Sonar Insider (Paperback)
I am a new user of Cakewalk Sonar 4 and found the Cakewalk users manual to be a little vague for a person new to PC-based recording. Sonar Insider is a great way for a new user, such as myself, to learn the tips and tricks needed to get the most out of Sonar 4. Craig Anderton is an extremely talented individual and he has a way of taking a complicated subject and presenting it in a way that is easy to understand.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great service!, November 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sonar Insider (Paperback)
I would most definitely give the supplier a worthy 5 stars - great price, great service and book arrived well before expected date. However with Sonar 8.5 and of course Sonar X-1 this book is somewhat dated and at times pertnent and yet at other times quite irrelevant. Craig Anderton is a legend with such books and I suppose the bargain price I paid for this reflects the dated content, hence the 4 stars. But having said all that, there are still a few tricks to be learned in its pages even for someone like me who has been using Cakewalk for over 20 years.
