A memorable and unforgettable recital between two giants!,

This review is from: Sonata for Piano & Violin (W/Dvd) (Audio CD)
This double album is a treat. Both recordings belong to Salzburg 1972 and shows us the expected meeting so widely commented by those years. The formidable pianism of Paul Badura Skoda and the amazing violinist David Oistrakh joined forces to record one of the most admirable recitals the musical history reminds. The serene elegance, clear texture, unmatched musicality and talent of both musicians around Mozart. The CD album and the DVD are historical milestones. Don't let this double album out of your collection. Don't think it twice and go for it. It will be a rewarding experience. |
