John Mark McMillan has a new thing to say about Christ. His lyrics speak to a new generation of believers that few voices are able to do. If you follow Christ, love rock music (especially roots-rock influenced stuff), and are tired of the same old cliches in Christ -influenced music, then this would be a great album for you to get. Also, his album "the medicine" is probably even better than this one, so buy that while you're at it. Very highly recommended.

This CD is one of the best in my collection. His songs are full of emotion; exciting, joyful, passionate, longing, honest, and humble. The music and lyrics come together to create a beauty that touches the soul and energizes the spirit. His songs are filled with his love for God and an honest search to know Him more. Excellent artist and CD!

JMM is great. His music is inspirational and appropriate for all. Why does his album say explicit on the title?

This is one of John's early releases. He shows a great maturity though in his lyrics and signature sound. I first listened to this from some poorly created MP3's, so I can't accurately evaluate the actual CD production. I have been looking for this CD for over a year and finely found it at; [...] Also, it was listed for only $7.50.

This album has the most amazing song writing I've heard.
Also, it's Christian music, why is it listed under "explicit"?

This album is amazing. I got it just to hear the original version of How He Loves, being a big fan of David Crowder*Band. This version blew me away so I listened to the rest of the album and it is so different... but comfortable. So much so-called Christian music is mediocre, being more radio friendly than artistic. Why don't we realize that music can be both?!? JMM's album is so well written, and his faith is obvious...

Now, if I could just get my hands on Hope Anthology V1 and The Medicine without paying a fortune...
