I purchased this beautiful song after hearing it at a wedding. It is by far the most perfect father/bride or mother/ bride song ever. I can't wait to hear it at my daughter's wedding. I have played it so much I know every word !

This song is wonderful to use if a daughter did not have a very close relationship with her father growing up. I was not Daddy's little girl when I was younger, but he was still an important part of my life. It was difficult to find a song that would express how we felt without bringing up my childhood. I feel that this song is appropriate for those situations.

We have two daughters getting married. One on September 22, 2001 and the other one is in the early stage of planning.We ordered the "A Song For My Daughter's Wedding", one for each of them.When they heard it for the first time to reveiw it, I had to hand them each a tissue. Their father also was choked up a bit, and he DOES NOT cry easily.The lyrics are so fitting and touching for a father-daughter dance. I know that all our guests are going to be touched and want to know where we found it. (Right now, I don't think that I'm going to tell them. At least not until our second daughter is married.)I highly reccomend this CD to every father and daughter that is looking for that 'special song' to dance to. Also if you are looking for a mother-son song to dance to, I reccomend 'A Song For My Son On His Wedding Day'. I also ordered this CD for our son's wedding in July,2001. A real touching tear jerker!!

I purchased this song without hearing it for my daughters wedding on 9/15/00. That was the best thing I could have done. It was perfect. If you, as a father have a close and loving relationship with your daughter, this song is the best.There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Thank you for this song. It made a special day just that much better.

When we first heard this song at a wedding in New York we knew that it was the perfect song for our daughters wedding.
It says exactly what we wanted to say to our daughter on her wedding day.
When the DJ played it at our daughters wedding here in California everyone wanted to know where they could get a copy too. It seems like all our daughters are getting married at once and everyone we know wants this song.
"A Song For MY Daughter " will be a wedding favorite for many years to come.
It was very helpful to have the two versions on the one CD (from dad or mom to the bride) Both singers are excellent.
We had the female version played at the church and the male version played for the father and bride dance.

My father bought this song to play for me on my Wedding day! It was the Best Gift he could have ever given me. He is a man of few words, but I know this song said all that was in his heart on that very special day (Nov 4th).

If you have daughter getting married I highly suggest you listen to this before you chose a song to dance to.

Since the father daughter dance happens once in a lifetime we wanted a very special song so we really searched for a CD with perfect words and music.
And this song is perfectly amazing.
We loved the words so much we ordered them done in calligraphy and had them framed as a gift to our daughter.

I heard this song played at the wedding of a close friend's daughter. It expresses a lifetime of sentiment in three minutes-EVERYBODY loved it. We all shared this special song at a special moment. Recommend it highly!

You only get one chance to have a father and bride dance and I thank goodness we found this song for our dance.
Who ever wrote the words really knows how it feels to be the father (or mother) of the bride. The words are exactly what I wanted to tell my daughter on her wedding day.
The musicians are beautiful and the singer Ray Alaire made the words come alive with so much emotion it was hard to choke away the tears so I didn't even try.
