5.0 out of 5 stars Awesomeawesomeawesome!, November 18, 2004
A Kid's Review
This book is one of my favorites in teh series. In it, Emily bonds with thirty baby unicorns that crash landed on Earth during their trip to the Unicorn Academy. Emily, Adriane, Kara, Ozzie, and their new friend Tweek must figure out how to teach the babys' magic before the knight attacks! Can they do it, or will the magic be taken forever? Read to find out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, August 25, 2003
By
I've always been a fan of Rachel Roberts's AvALon: Web of Magic books. Song of the Unicorns is the first book in a new AvALon series called Quest for Magic.
Emily is going to visit her father and step-mother with her two best friends, Adriana and Kara. Emily doesn't like the fact that her father's new wife is trying to make friends with her.
But Emily has hardly enough time to think about that when she finds a cave while horseback riding one day. She and her friends discover something amazing inside the cave. Tons of baby unicorns from the mythical world of Aldenmor.
The unicorns were sent to Earth by mistake and now they must be sent back to their own world before they grown too much...and before someone discovers a buch of rainbow-colored foals in the girls' cabin.
I give this book two thumbs way up and am looking forward to the next book, All's Fairy in Love and War.

If you love adventure, mythology, magic, and other things like that, then I think you'll love this book. It's about three preteen/ teenage magis, Emily, Adriane, and Kara, who each have a special stone. Emily has the healing stone, Adriane has the warrior stone, and Kara, the blazing star, has the unicorn stone. In this book, the young magis find a herd of baby unicorns, who got lost on their way to unicorn school. But when the unicorns start sprouting their horns, is it to late? Plus, Emily has to deal with her dad's new love- her stepmother. Can they get the unicorns to Avalon, the source of all magic, befor it's to late? Find out by reading this book and all the others that come befor it in the Avalon seris.

5.0 out of 5 stars YES! Another Avalon book!, January 14, 2005
A Kid's Review
Bingo! I've been waiting for this ever since I saw it advertised, and it was even better than I thought it would be! It's a great doorway to another Avalon series with great new characters. The mages seem to have gotten quite a handle on their magic--well, except for Kara, who's having problems with hers.

And the big question that's answered is--is the magic always there, even if you sacrifice it?

Come to this book! It's calling to you. Listen! Hear it???
