Set in modern australia, a native is called by the land to a hero's quest. This, and other wonderful books, seem to be ritually dismissed as children's fiction. This is a beatiful work for open hearts of all ages.

an excellent trilogy for young adult readers, set in the Australian Dreamtime. Populated by fanciful creatures from the Aboriginal dreamtime legends and stories, this is a wonderous adventure story that all aussie kids should read. delicate narrative and warm open characters, it's a great fantasy read.
