Then it leaks as it swings back and forth.

Orioles, hummers, woodpeckers and several other species of birds enjoy drinking from this feeder.

I also had problems with the bee guards getting hung up.

This is a good feeder, Orioles seem to enjoy this feeder. I had to super glue the ports on, because woodpeckers like to peck them off so they can get to the food. Also bees will get into the feeder, and that can be a big problem.

I purchased this feeder because we have a problem with bees getting into our other Oriole feeders. As an Oriole feeder it is fine. The birds used it regularly. However, the bee guard mechanisms do not work. The bees push right past them and enter the feeder. Several have ended up dead inside. Once they are successful at entering, the bees swarm the feeder and the birds stop using it.

When trying to assemble, the pivoting bee guards that are supposed to snap inside the feeder would not snap into the slots that hold them. With any pressure, in trying, they snapped off. Terrible design of product. Will be returning it.

The orioles and humming birds love this feeder, but I hate it. It was fine for a short while and then began to leak, just a little at first and then a lot. I spent so much time taking this feeder apart and then trying to get the bottom together "just right" so it wouldn't leak. I also had problems with the bee guards getting hung up. So frustrating since the birds liked it so much. I finally gave up and bought a different feeder.

We had orioles that came to our hummingbird feeders trying to feed and they kept spilling or knocking the feeders down so we thought we should get them one just for them that was bigger. This has worked great. They now go to this feeder and leave the hummingbird feeders alone. This feeder has solved our problem.

It works fine, doesn't drip and the hummingbirds will also eat out it. However, one of the yellow plastic perches had a small piece break off that keeps it in place. I am now attaching it with duct tape. Anyone know where I can find a replacement part?

Works fine until the wind comes up. Then it leaks as it swings back and forth. And it doesn't just drip, it flows! Unfortunately, there's no easy way to attach a solid mount to it.

I bought this thinking it would be a nice, big feeder. After a few cleanings, the base no longer fits properly and leaks fluids out! Horrid engineering. Buy a feeder with a proper screw on, water tight base or you will be watching your feeder water drip out. My orioles actually much prefer a hummingbird feeder. Go figure!
