I love it. This product is both a carrot and a withering, cruel stick. Hang this to a correct (re: bone breaking) height, insert some corn into the screw, and then sit back and enjoy the show. Setup takes less than 10 minutes, depending on how long it takes you to climb a ladder. The squirrels will be wary, without doubt: this is a smart, cagey animal who has survived for millennial while being the target of stronger/faster predators (hawks, falcons, Toyotas, etc). But eventually you will start hearing the chiming of the tiny bell, signalling that another squirrel is attempting to outsmart science. I don't care that the squirrels periodically get to the actual corn. I don't care that this is actually designed for their so called pleasure-as if an animal could even feel such a thing. This is the pinnacle of man's domination over beast. Never forget it-this is OUR world. Dance for me rodent! DANCE FOR ME!

We bought it after months of struggling with squirrels monopolizing our bird feeder. We figured why not get some fun out of the situation and purchased the squngee. We have not regretted the purchase. We attached the squngee to one end of a 3 ft long 2x2 and nailed the other end to the pine tree. We first put it at a height of about a foot and half above the ground to entice the squirrel and make sure the little bastard knows how to use it. Well, it did not take long for the little guy to figure it out (I swear this squirrel is smarter than me). But then the fun really started. We increased the height to over 2 feet, and it became challenging for the squirrel to get to the corn. Eventually the squirrel resorted to either jumping/flying from the tree to "hop" on the corns, or jumping up from the ground. Once he is on the corns, he needs all of his legs to hold on so he uses his teeth to pull off the kernels on the ground. Then he hops off and eats for a while on the ground. When he is on the corns, the squngee bounces back and forth and it is extremely fun to watch. This whole event transpires in about 5 - 10 seconds. But he will do this over and over again until he is full or there is no more corn. There are a couple of squirrels by us and it takes about 3 - 5 days before the corns are emptied. Guests are always curious to see it.. and those that are timely enough to watch it in action always walk away giggling and amused.

This is an excellent gift for the hard to buy for person. Bought this for my Dad, the man that has everything, hung it from the tree for him. He sits and laughs while he watches the squirrels swing and fly trying to get the corn. Even funnier when two try at once. Nothing like flying squirrels to entertain. Better value than going to the movies!!
