Fine Represntative Collection,

This review is from: The Songbird of the South (Audio CD)
These recordings date from 1929 through the 1940s, and contain approximately 11 of her charted hits, some of which are not on any other collection. Of course, that was before stereo sound, but the sound quality of this compact disc is quite good.

With technology today I was very surprised to hear this CD. It was not even in stereo sound and labeled mono. I would have thought it could have been remastered. The sound quality is something to be desired and I would not order this again.

This was sold to me as a new product. I don't believe it was. The songs are great, but "God Bless America" skipped and jumped and was obviously scratched.
