I have a large collection of Solitudes CD's, and this is one of my favorites. Herberman is, to my mind, the best of the Solitudes composers. (Hennie Bekker is my least favorite.) The bird song is a charming addition to a wide variety of instrumental music, all of which is suitable for relaxation. No heavy rhythms or distracting percussion. I use these CD's for relaxing, active listening, meditation, and sheer enjoyment.

I never get tired of this CD. It is one of the most peaceful and timeless CD's I have ever heard, with truly beautiful and original compositions.

The sound of chirping birds, combined with relaxing music; it can't be anymore relaxing. It is just the thing when relaxing, sleeping, or just going through the day. Close your eyes and imagine a whole different time and place; it will help relax you.
