5.0 out of 5 stars "Songbook" is a terrific CD that I thought I would never find., March 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Songbook (1979 Original London Cast) (Audio CD)
"Songbook" was released on DRG back in the early 1990's and, for whatever reason, I never bought it then and I thought my chances of finding it were pretty much over. Luckily, I was wrong, because a wonderful seller was offering it on Amazon.com for an extremely reasonable price and I grabbed it. The attraction of "Songbook" for me are the two leading ladies-- Gemma Craven and Diane Langton (I have a video of them starring in a delightful "She Loves Me" from 1979 that is from just about the same period they recorded "Songbook"). Both women are wonderful and the CD is great from beginning to end. Thanks so much!
