this was NOT released in 1998, as i have had it since 1990, albeit in cassette form, and i didn't buy it as an import either...... anyway... it is extremely good- mostly pretty/acousticy sounds, david is truly a genius of many talents,warm and thought-provoking lyrics, amazing album! get it!

I have loved David J since I was 14 when I first heard Bauhaus, of course one thing I really love about him is that none of his albums sound the same he is always experimenting and growing as an artist. I love this album because it seems to be filled with so much personal thoughts and feelings which I have to say his others don't seem to be quite as personal. Of course you got to love I'll Be Your Chauffer" I just wish this man got the recognition he deserves because he is a brillant musican and songwriter.

David J- (Love and Rockets) Former basist with Love and Rockets, David inspires with this work. have had this particular realease for many years, wore it out. From opening track through to the final track this album will keep you coming back for more. you must give it a try.

The photo on the cover I'm pretty sure was taken in an upstairs dressing room at a club in Detroit. Saw many bands there including Bauhaus, TOnes on Tail and Love and Rockets.
