Rob is probably one of the best musicians out there. It is unfortunate that so many have yet to hear his music. I was furtunate enough to meet him when he first started playing in New York at The BMW Bar. He is a great singer/songwriter/musician/person...But not in that order. The best of luck to him.

Getzschman's sound has a Dylanesque resonance, and his message of disillusionment with capitalism isn't new, but the lyrical guitar work, honest voice and subtly infectious lyrics of this young talent make for great continuous listening. If you're like me, you'll find yourself singing these songs after hearing them only once. The album really makes a boring drive sail by and picks up the spirits--neither annoying, cloying nor predictable.Where is his latest CD "Eleven Coming Back"? It shows his maturing voice and guitar mastery, along with even better songs. |
