5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing Work, September 25, 2004
This review is from: Songs from the Archives (Audio CD)
Well...Crimson Moonlight is one of my fave bands ever. The mix of Keyboards, heavy riffs, makes an awesome combination. The keyboards are awesome and put you on the lyrics. They Kinda sound like Dimmu Borgir, but Crimson Moonlight has awesome messeges and deep lyrics talking about christianity. So if you are looking for some heavy Gothic/Black stuff get this. And if you like these one you should chek their cd "The Covenant Progress, and also chek out bands like Slechtvalk and Sympathy another bands with good Gothic/Black.

It's about freakin time Amazon.com stocked these guys. They are so freakin awesome. The best song on the CD is easily "Where Darkness Cannot Reach" and it's has unreleased tracks and some rare live tracks. This is an absolute must own, so I say buy it. Don't think just buy, it's amazing. If you like this also go get The Covenant Progress while you're at it. Crimson Moonlight rules!!!

These guys must be the very top of christian black metal, now I don't have this cd, but this is the only cd reviewd here, but I've heard many songs from this album, and they are awsome.
Musicly, especially their newer album it's totally brutal, everything destroying black metal. I've heard it called the perfect combination of Dimmu Borgir and Dissection, and completely agree!
The older material on this cd is more keyboard laiden, but has a great atmosphere.
Vocally they usualy used low pitched black metal vocals, with sometimes higher death metal vocals as support, and it sounds great.
Their album The Covenant Progress I know is so great, and this cd has many songs from that, so do yourself a favour and get this cd!
