Teresa Brewer's brassy voice, both throaty and chesty, wraps itself around these songs with total confidence and energy. Her love of the music shines through. The samples are powerful proof. The bands are superb too.

When you think of Teresa Brewer and the songs she sang you think of 50's rock and roll. Not with this album! This album is jazz and r&b and Teresa Brewer's Best Ever. She sings as if she was born with Soul in her heart not rock and roll. This whole album is just beautiful and is definately her Best Ever!!!

A must for any Teresa Brewer fan. For good blues, a double-feature and listen to more than once. Teresa's unique voice just makes this collection even better. Basie is great. And Bessie Smith is still the blues lady!

There's fireworks here. The girl is a phrasing tornado. What a stunner to discover that such amazing Teresa Brewer sides existed. No mouse could sing St. Louis Blues the way the girl does it here!

Teresa Brewer's squeaky minnie mouse voice leaves me cold.It's amazing to me she has made so many albums.The Count Basie and Duke Ellington bands are excellent on this cd.Too bad Kay Starr wasn't the singer here.The audio fidelity reproduction is not very good.This is a budget lable and it sounds thay way.Probably a good cd to purchase if you're a rabid Teresa Brewer fan,otherwise forget it.
