A great addition to Pickin' Up The Pieces...,

I realize Songs for a Breakup was released prior to the band's full album, but I imagine most listeners will be more familiar with their studio songs and are now purchasing this. Although there are some repeats, the two songs that didn't carry over to Pickin' Up The Pieces are definitely worth a download. Recorded in Fitz's living room, this album's acoustics are reminiscent of an older time or a live recording. The two novel songs (Darkest Street and We Don't Need Love Songs) are slower but heartfelt and really great. Must Buy for Fitz fans!

I saw this band on Jay Leno and really liked the song they sang. Went to Amazon and previewed songs from this album (great feature), bought the CD and FELL IN LOVE with Fitz and the Tantrums. Great music and lyrics with an outstanding beat and sound. Ended up buying Pickin' Up The Pieces too. Another great!!!!!! CD. Can't wait for more from this excellent band. Recommend highly!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hoping for something like "Money Grabber", but it wasn't there. Maybe when I'm in a quieter state it will appeal more to me.
